heh. It's a pity that you weren't on my flist last spring, when I hosted the Ratzinger/HP slash crackfest. We got 13 contributions in four languages, for that one! Slashed him with everybody.....

Ooh, but I'm a Snape booster, through and through, so I have trouble pairing him up with silly Pope-ish folk. (How cool was the last one? Yeah, some faults, but the dude was an actor!) :) I'll have to go back through the records and check it out sometime.

I requested SS/HP, SS/RL, SS/RW, or SS/AD. I think she(he) made the bold decision. :) We need more Ron/Snape fic. I like Ron--I find it easier to make Harry the villain than Ron. He's a big snuggly goober with freckles.

I've read three really outstanding Ron fics this month: one a classic rec (Helenish's Close Enough, with, as you say, Harry in the antagonist role); then sea change in the smutmas fest; now, this one.

It's like it's Weasley Is Our King month in my house, since I also hunted down a Ron GoF banner for a friend's birthday.

He is, indeed, a big snuggly goober with freckles. And your gift-fic added another lovely post-war level to consider. Lucky you! Thanks for suggesting the pairing.

I think I might've read 'Close Enough.' I dip my toes into the Harry/Ron pool. I still haven't read sea change. (I fear non-capitalization, shh, don't tell. Oh, and also Draco. But all say it's pretty good.)

Maybe that trend will fade with the old year. In this story instance, it's just the title. After that, the prose flows delightfully in Ron's point-of-view. Such.A.Boy.

Yeah, there was a lot more to that encounter that Snape didn't tell Filch. "Can't keep your eyes on all three heads at once" my ass...Snape knew exactly where all three of those heads were.

Okay, now I'm even giving myself the creeps. :)
